About Jason

Captain Jason Ramer has been fishing Southwest Florida waters since childhood. Whether it is fishing snook, trout, and redfish on the flats, tarpon in famous Boca Grande Pass, or permit and cobia off near shore wrecks, his local knowledge is second to none.

Jason is a full time fishing guide based out of Tarpon Lodge, in Pine Island, Florida. He is currently fishing an Aquasport that he helped rebuild six years ago. Jason also builds almost all the rods clients use on board. His passion truly is fishing in every aspect, and he enjoys both saltwater and freshwater. Jason uses top quality equipment to ensure the highest caliber customer experience.

Captain Jason truly understands how to relate to his clientele, offering a first-rate, one-of-a-kind experience for both the novice and experienced alike. He has many return clients which speaks volumes to his success rate.
