The only removable tank storage option
December 19, 2015
As both a scuba diver and fisherman I have many times tried to fashion a way to have my boat be able to be set up for dual purposes. I didn't, however, want to screw in permanent mounts for scuba tanks as I generally don't like the idea of extra holes in my boat, and I didn't want tank mounts in the way when not in use. I came across these suction cup straps a little while ago and had been pondering them ever since. When Tackledirect had their Black Friday Sale and I saw they sold them I figured now was the time. I will state as a disclaimer that I can't speak to how the suction cups hold while under way as I haven't used them yet. I can say that they work as advertised and I have found numerous places where they can be mounted and securely hold a scuba tank. I am very pleased with this product and unless they break off while moving I will likely be ordering another set later on.
Pros-Removable -No holes in boat -Can be positioned however needed for the day's loadout
Cons-Expensive
