They are the truth I would like them to sponsor me
I'm very impressed with the ugly stick been using them for a while now. Got tired of breaking the tips off my rod when I hook a big fish. It gets real ugly when I show up to fishing tournaments with my buddies with my Ugly Sticks.
ProsUnmatched reliability when topwater fishing...
ConsReel holder shifts a little bit when setting big fish

Definitely worth the buy!
Not very light, but fulfills the purpose. Can't beat the price!
ConsSeems like not very durable components and not really light weight for the size.

I bought this as a replacement rod for my son. It was such a nice rod I kept it myself. It is now my primary rod. I will buy another one for him.
ProsCame in heavy cardboard tube for shipping.

A lot of things but not "Ugly"
I would categorize this pole as a good strong rod best suited for applications where sensitivity isn't paramount. I like using it for topwater and cranking. The grip is a little beefy but not terrible. Aesthetics are great and I like the portability of 2 pieces. The 1 piece may be more sensitive. Overall i'm very pleased.
ProsAffordable Strong Attractive Portable
ConsNot very sensitive

stick with the originals
I bought one last year from dicks but returned it and tried the 6' but again I returned it beacuse I couldn't keep the guides srtaight. Every time I cast that rod the 2 peices would twist and cause wind knots and line break.
ProsLooks great with sargus or fierce
ConsWimpy reel seat and poor clearcoat
