The ultimate way to organize and store your arsenal of soft plastics, the Shimano Baraja Worm Binders are a great accessory for anglers of all varieties. The Baraja Worm Binder includes resealable PVC bags that can be removed to allow anglers to organize soft plastics to fit their specific needs. The bags, or "pages", are completely clear so you can see the contents inside, and are also the perfect size for storing coiled pre-tied leaders or rigs, terminal tackle, and other small tackle items. Constructed from a rigid exterior with a highly durable rip-stop polyester fabric liner, these tackle binders are as durable and they are functional. A heavy-duty TPU corrosion-resistant zipper closure resists wear and tear from the elements for smooth and easy operation for many seasons on the water.
Features:
- Handle Carrying Strap
- Heavy TPU Corrosion-Resistant Zippers
- Heavy Denier Rip-Stop Polyester Fabric
- Hard Construction Exterior
- Durable Resealable PVC Bags
It was a nice way to store things, although the plastic bags aren't that durable. Mine wouldn't last a year of consistent use I don't think, but I am hard on my equipment, generally. If all you're putting in here is plastic baits, you're probably fine if you don't overstuff it.
I feel like the bags out to be larger; the binder's casing leave too much gap inside.
The zippered pouches on the front and back covers are almost useless. You'd need baby sized fingers to be able to get anything out of them.
The handle is nice. It's relatively ruggedly built; it can be tossed around and feel confident about the safety of the contents.
One of my zippers just pulled right off. Good thing it has two!
It's not waterproof. Anything stored in the zippered pouches will receive moisture that hits the outer covers. I opened up the zippers and let the pouches air out so nothing rusted.
I wouldn't buy this again. If I wanted something similar, I'd probably go with the Cabelas T.U.B.
But, I would like to see the dimensions added to the description my the sizes, and a view of the inside of the binders.
I'd like to see inside views of ALL the binders/boxes Tackle Direct carries...it's easier to see if it would meet the needs of the person you're buying the for...especially if you've not seen them before.
