I bought these to take to Alaska saltwater fishing. The height was perfect for my needs. The deck was wet and had fish slime on it. Boots provided great traction and kept my feet dry. I normally wear a size 12.5. I purchased size 13. Even with heavy wool socks I was slipping around inside the boot. I had a brilliant idea to add boot gel liners inside the boot. Now the boots fit great and I can stand on my feet all day on a pitching deck without my feet getting tired. If you want a travel size set of fishing boots, these are hard to beat.
ProsGood traction
ConsJust plastic and no cushion on the sole. Add boot gel liners to provide comfort.

Great boot but run small
February 22, 2014
I wanted these boots from the moment I saw them, great summertime fishing shoe.
The are light weight and totally water proof.
The only issue I found was that they run small, I just gave my initial pair to my nephew and bought a size up from my normal show size.
ProsWaterproof Light weight
Consrun small tough to get on (but maybe that's because they run small)

I always go on a party fishing boat. That day I 1st wore this 2 guys noticed and had asked about this pair and where I got them.
After 2 trips on it, I'd say its very comfortable and light. My foot did not get stressed nor tired all day fishing and had no problems driving 1 hr back going home.
Great boots.

Could these boots be used with stocking feet waders

These boots are more so designed for use as a deck boot or for light duty land based fishing. I would not advise using them as a wading boot.

I need sizing help. I wear a 10.5 standard width in most shoes. I own an older pair of Shimano Evair Fishing boots in size 11 and they are too small. I want to purchase a new pair, but need guidance on the sizing. Do I need to by the size 12, or has Shimano changed their sizing with this newer model of their Fishing boot?
1 Answers
The new Shimano Evair boots have changed in size over the last couple years.I recommend a size 11 for you because the 12 will be too big.

I have a WIDE 11 to 12 shoe size. Will I have any luck with these sizes? If they don't fit can I return them?
1 Answers
Most individuals who wear a size wide find that these fit nicely. If you are between an 11 and 12 i would go with a size 12.
