Strong, dependable, and ready to face the toughest offshore environments, this series is built on middleweight blanks with rugged components to offer an ideal balance of rod action and lifting power. These rods feature a slick butt handle for quick and easy removal from rod holders and are fitted with an aluminum gimbal that securely locks into rod holders and fighting belts. Equipped with heavy-duty Fuji Aluminum Oxide Ring Guides (non-roller turbo guides), these rods can be effectively fished with both monofilament and braided lines. The addition of an AFTCO Roller Tip allows for smooth line pay out under heavy drag pressures while trolling. This series will be right at home in many different fisheries, and is ideal for mid-range offshore trolling for species like dolphin, dorado, and small to medium sized tuna.
