First jigging tuna
October 29, 2019
Purchased the heavy spinning rod for jigging tuna in the 100lb range.
Caught my first blue fin tuna jigging off Cape Cod. 204lbs
Put the rod to the test, with maximum stress for almost 2 hours, but it worked awesome.
Will purchase another.
ProsVery light, and very strong.

Great snapper rod! Not just for jigging
March 3, 2018
I have my Avet SX Raptor on the 6'6 medium conventional rod which I primarily use for mangrove snapper in the gulf. This rod is light, extremely sensitive , comfortable to fish with and a 5 year warranty is tough to beat. I will likely get another one when I purchase another Avet SX. It is the perfect rod to pair with the SX series reels.

this is my second St Croix Mojo Jigging rod. It is very light but very strong. Works great with my Avet SX reel. Fit and finish is excellent for a production rod.

Mojo jig extremely light yet mighty

I have 3 6'6" rods 2 spinning. And 1 casting. All Medium heavy rods. Use them for deep water porgy and Seabass. You can feel the slightest tap with 50 pound braid of the smallest fish. And we were using quad hooks set up's and they have the backbone To hook 3 4 Pounders at one time. All-around love the rods. If you want to catch the smallest fish. All the way up to I would say the largest stripers and codfish. Haven't caught a large striper or cod yet but the pole seems to have plenty of Power. And so far love the guides they're made of 304 stainless Small but Mighty. All-around great Rods.
Pros Can't beat St. Croix's warrantee. And Quality. For the price.
