Great fishing pole

Actually my grandson picked out this rod for his birthday present. He has been fisihing with his younger brother and father since he could hold a fishing rod. I have been getting him different lures and such for a long time. He couldn’t wait to use it.

How would this rod pair with an avet 6/3 lx for salt water fishing?
1 Answers
It will depend on the style of fishing or application your using the combo for. I would advise using the combo for lighter saltwater fishing applications.

Would an Avet sxj 5.3 be a good match? Throwing bucktails and bulldawgs
1 Answers
I would only recommend the SXJ or any other conventional reel if you are strictly going to be trolling. If your approach will be more casting and retrieval I would suggest a larger sized baitcasting reel like the Shimano Tranx or Abu Garcia Revo Beast.
