This line is fantastic i use it on all my Saltwater reels. Never lost a fish due too broken line or faield knots. The braid is super smooth and carzy strong, like all braid it's sensitive too abrasion so allways fish a top shot of mono or flouro. Probably the best line on the market there for the price tag. If you want to spend that extra money it's going to be will worth it.

Very very good braid! The braid is super smooth and crazy strong, like all braid it's sensitive too abrasion so allways fish a top shot of mono or flouro. Shots trough your guides lie ka rocket because it's so thin yet it's so strong! a bit expensive but you pay for the quality!

Excellent braid!
This is the best braid on the market. Great line lay and castibility. All of my reels are stringed with it. Sufix needs to broaden color selection like adding blue and red.
ProsLine lay Casting distance
ConsLoud braid sound Pricey

Sufix 832
Previously have used power pro and power pro ss braids and this is better than both of them. Better knot hold, feels smoother and is quieter through the guides. So far the best braid i have used.
ProsSmooth Strong for its diameter Handles great for spinning reels or baitcasters Casts well
ConsExpensive, but you get what you pay for

Best braid in the game
Cant beat Sufix - I use it religiously on all of my reels and I've never had an issue. The breaking strength seems much tougher than the advertised test rating as well.

Might just be the best
I have been a Power Pro SS fan but since I have started using this braid, I might just switch all my lines to this. Silky smooth and it seems to be rounder than PP SS. Still need it to a couple more trips but so far so good.
Prossmooth castability and rounder than PP SS

Man this stuff is nice. Super nice hand, great transmission, loads up well, tough. It's been really great on a couple reels. No issues other than a few wind knots and that might just be the reel or retrieve, can't be sure on that yet. I'd prefer to use it more but it's a little on the pricey side and Spiderwire is pretty good too.
ProsNice product that doesn't disappoint

Best Braid I've Used
The 832 has it all: durability, strength, knot sustainability, and castability. Can throw lures a long way and never have to worry about a large fish snapping the line. Very minor wind knot issues; still far better than almost everything else.

Lasts Forever
Been using this line since it came out. Best available. It's a litter stiffer than the others but casts great. It never losses its strength or get abrasions.
ProsLasts forever. (have not had to change line in 4 years) Great knot strength Easy to tie

Great line
I love this line so far. I have yet to have a wind-knot with it, which is also a credit to the reel its spooled on. Strength seems to be true what its supposed to be. I like the dark color which equals low visibility for where I fish.

Best braid for your money!
Received my Penn torque rod, battle 8000 reel and the sufix 80lb test lo-vis green braid last year. Went fishing in the Gulf of Paria, approx 2 km from Granville beach. Held a few 20lb black fin sharks. The rod, reel and braid out performed all other gear...

1 Question & 1 Answer
from Maryland asked:

How does Suffix 832 compare with PowerPro --- advantages & disadvantages?
Standard PowerPro spectra( which is great line) is made up of 4 strands. Sufix 832 is made up of 8 strands. PowerPro Super Slick is made up of 8 strands. The Sufix 832 is very smooth thanks to the fact that it is an 8 stranded braid much like the PowerPro super slick. The more strands used the more round the line becomes. Smoother and more rounded braided lines will cast further and go through the guides with less resistance. They will also give less scope when dropping down in the water column. Sufix uses "Gore Fiber" which in theory helps make their braid more durable and stand up better after contact with abrasive surfaces.
