The Sunline SaltiMate Tunageat Fluorocarbon Leader uses a patented technology called "Plasma Rise". This technology modifies the surface of the line by adding a special polymeric layer that acts like an elastic rubber band. This allows for tighter knots and improved knot strength, which is important for shock leaders and braid lines. Additionally, the polymeric layer provides excellent protection against damage and breakage from snags. Because of the line's high knot strength and abrasion resistance, it is possible to use a thinner line than usual when targeting fish. This makes it suitable for a wide range of fishing activities, from super light jigging to offshore fishing for big fish.
