Great for a variety of species and exceptional for fluke!  These ball jigs are very productive lures straight out of the package. Some anglers fish the jig solo and others like to rig it with a teaser (above) or a trailer (behind).

Tsunami Ball Jigs are constructed with molded stainless steel attachment loops, top quality swivels and premium Mustad Stainless Steel hooks. Appealing, over sized "Target Eyes" and reflective holographic foil are installed on each model to help trigger strikes from predators. Genuine bucktail and holographic sparkle follow in the rear surrounding each hook.
  • Cast, jig or drift
  • Reinforced stainless steel attachment loops
  • Epoxy coated with Mustad Stainless Steel Siwash hooks
  • Extra strong, chrome swivels
  • Dressed with genuine bucktail

Good for Fluke
June 14, 2019
Have caught many fluke (and Sea Robin) on this jig tipped with a spearing. Holds bottom better than a bucktail. The thread came unwrapped on one and the hair fell off, but I fish them hard.
ProsCatch fish. Nice Action
ConsIffy construction of tail

Cool jig, something different..

I like them, they get to the bottom! I don't think I've ever had a fluke take one, they have always gone for the gulp on the tandem.

This is one product i can't stand by with Tsunami

these are not good fluke catching jigs. Will you catch the occasional one, yes, but as a standalone lure you have little chance. you are better off trying these for porgies.

Good Fluke Jig

Solid fluke jig. Good hardware. Gets down deeper when current is running than regular ducktail of same weight.

Good product, great design
August 25, 2016
The tsunami ball jig lures are well constructed and designed.
ProsGood paint and clear coated. Quality hook and bucktail. Swivel and attachment are good quality and not likely to fail. Cost is good for the quality of the product.

Great for holding the bottom in strong current
September 4, 2015
I use these when fishing off-shore in hight current. They are also great to bounce over wrecks as the round shape has less hangups.
ProsI think the fish like the eyes - i do. easy to use - right size to hod the bottom in strong current
