Get it!

I have four of these rods now for light tackle jigging mostly for fluke and seabass they are worth every penny!!! Sensitive, strong, and at a price point that anyone can afford. Used them for 2 seasons now and they're holding strong we'll see about their longevity, but for a rod under $100 you can't beat it. Get one you won't be disappointed.
ProsSensitive, strong, price tag
ConsI don't have 10 more!

My new - Go-to Rod
February 10, 2020
Purchased this as a spare rod to keep at my summer house and wind up using it all the time!
Only downside is that I am kicking myself for spending more than 4x on another rod...

Great rod
December 30, 2019
This is one of my light tackle rods that I use for rockfish. It's been a great rod and I am shocked that it's less than $100 for the way it's performed. I've got it paired up with a Stradic 2500 and 10# powerpro braid. It's a great combination.

Perfect for fluke, and bigger fish as well.
July 2, 2018
This rod was recommended by the guy at my local bait and tackle. At first I thought it was a little too stiff for fluke fishing. But after catching a bunch of fluke, as well as a nice sized bluefish, I’ve realized it’s perfect. You really can feel every tap on the line. And casting a 1oz bucktail is a breeze. I actually may buy a second one for kayak striper fishing. I’ve only had it for about a week, so we will see how long it lasts. I have a couple tsunami rods, this brand is definitely near the top of my list.
ProsEverything.
ConsNothing.

These are perfect for inshore bottom fishing. The short length makes this rod great for young anglers and a blast for adults.

What size reel should I pair with this 6’6 model
1 Answer
A 2500 class reel would pair nicely with the Tsunami Sapphire XT Pro Rod 6'6". If you want to make it an extra-light setup, you could go with a 2000 or 1500.

Will a Shimano tranx 200 fit on the 6ft9 medium casting?
1 Answer
The Shimano Tranx 200 and the Tsunami Sapphire XT Pro 6'9" casting rod would fit well together. Though you must be careful with how heavy your braid is. The reel can handle much heavier braid than the rod can.
