All of these lures are tank tested to assure proper performance and strike triggering action. Precise weight balancing designs in all models ensure a tumble free casting performance. The field testing is also apparent in a better-balanced swimming or jigging action. These models are available in a variety of sizes and colors. And the added heavy duty hook ensures that your catch won't swim away with your bait.

Prefer single hook

I had this lure in the single hook version for a few years now and decided to try the double hook version. This bait has the same profile and colors which are good but the second hook kills the action of the bait compared to the single hook version. Personally I do not think that the second hook is necessary for stripers and they inhale the bait most of the time anyway.

ConsI prefer the one hook version

When it comes to mimicking a bunker, this is the tops. Casting and slowly retrieved or trolling this is deadly. Add in the second hook and it's a DEAD ringer! I won't buy a 9" if it doesn't have a second hook
ProsSuper lifelike, second hook is key

Great Lure, great deal, great experience

The Tsunami is the best striped bass soft bait I've ever used. Trolling the Chesapeake Bay during trophy season I can think of nothing I would prefer to be using. The bluefish like them too so during warmer months I need several with the second hook because bluefish tear them up, usually by biting off the tails. So, that 2nd hook puts those late strikes in the box too. These are popular so they're difficult to find in local fishing supply shops. Finding TackleDirect online made the entire process much easier. I'll never run out again.
