Tsunami Talking Popper Lures deliver a popping, splashing, skittering action to draw reaction strikes from predators. Large weight transfer balls provide longer tumble-free casts and loud. fish attracting rattles. Tough colorful finishes with life like 3D eyes imitate prey species. Extra sharp VMC Cut Point treble hooks assure faster hook-sets. Heavy duty stainless steel split rings and rattles are part of the superior construction that guarantees more dynamic fishing.

Wake up fish for hundreds of feet in all directions with this In Your Face lure
Talking Poppes are like fish finders because you can use them to rouse lethargic fish into biting. I often use these to test a spot for fish since many species feel compelled to investigate all the racket
ProsGood casting distance Creates a ton of topwater comotion
ConsLarger sizes wrk better for me except in the early spring

Wake up fish for hundreds of feet in all directions with this In Your Face lure
Talking poppers are a blast to fish and often lead to amazing toowater action. A jerky, zippy retrieve will create a ton of commotion on the surface and pull fish out of their hiding spots. I like to swap the tail hook for 1 size larger as it helps the plug run just a little deeper and gives it more wobble.
ProsLike a telegraph to attract fish
ConsWorks best on a calmer day

Casts a mile, skitters and pops, what more do you need
These plugs cast a mile and have great surface action. I have taken jack crevalle, albies and blacktip sharks on these plugs. Take a beating and keep on skipping.

these plugs catch fish!
Durable, they cast a mile and they catch fish. Win win win. Great plug for striped bass, but at this price if there are bluefish around and you get bitten off it's not gonna break your heart. Must have in your bag!

A Must Have Lure
This plug has two great things going for it. It's a great plug at a great price. As a pencil popper it works as well as any of the higher end plugs and because of the price, buying various sizes and colors is much less of an issue. It casts great. If you want to use it strictly as a popper there are other plugs that work better. It's real value lies when you shake the rod in a pencil popper retrieve.
ProsCasts well, great action

Great Popper
Tsunami makes quality tackle and this popper is no different. For the price, you can't beat it. A proven fish killer and it is one of the first plugs out of my bag.

They catch fish and are affordable
What first drew me to these was the price. I use these poppers for both striped bass in the surf, and when I travel to Baja to chase rooster fish! In Baja needlefish are a huge problem, and since I loose lures sometimes, I normally bring about 8-10 of these poppers.
ProsWell constructed, catch fish, and are affordable.

Great popper - awesome price, size options, color schemes, comes with solid hardware, and can be fished in variety of ways. Can be fished like a pencil popper with a slashing side to side action or slowly chugged and popped more like a Polaris style. They cast great, come in fish catching colors, and with the strong hard-ware are hard to beat for the price. Great searching lures to cover water with long casts and enticing action. I've fished the 2oz in white / bone, the 3oz in Black back/green side, and 4oz in Blue back (Dawn Herring?) and they all catch fish - they trigger hard strikes and stand up to the battle afterwards. A really great value and productive fish catcher. Check out some of the J. Skinner videos - I try not to follow the herd, but if he's using and catching with them, I figure I should too.
ProsTerrific Price / Value!! easy action versatility in presentation they just catch fish
Consnot the most durable paint finishes, but the splashing surface commotion doesn't really depend on color and at the price and fish-catching ability, who cares !?!?

It took awhile to catch on up north, but southern anglers in the Chesapeake Bay area were onto the striped bass technique of Mojo balling, (a derivative of Parachute jigging), years before the madness trickled up into the New Jersey and New York... Read More
