Tsunami Trophy Jigging Rod models mount Fuji stainless steel and graphite cushioned reel seats, and braced stainless steel frame Aluminum Oxide guides for light weight, wear resistance and improved casting performance. Light and durable EVA grips are comfortable in the hand and keep these powerful rods light. Blanks are a percision taper blend of undirectional graphite composite and a full length, action-tuned outer layer of high modulus mesh graphite for more power with minimal weight and increased resistance to damage.

Great rod for light jigging
Got this rod to do some light to mid weight jigging, and it’s performed well. Firm enough backbone to have great control over jig action, yet light enough that you can get a good fight. Very pleased with the rod.

TSTBC-J601XH is the best rod out there for the price
They are literally manufactured around the corner from where i live ( less than 5 miles) in Mahwah NJ and are truly fantastic. I would recommend this company to anyone, plain and simple. This is my current pole from bottom fishing to Mahi Mahi and even smaller sharks. I even caught a 300+lb shark on my tsunami reel rated for 40 lb and my tsunami pole rated for 80-100 pound line in a chum slick 10 ft from the boat and wrenched him in. My father went out and bought a $300 custom rod years back for it's lightness and sensitivity, but when i handed him my rod to hold so i could get a sandwich, he he wouldn't give it back and went out and bought one of these. The thing is so sensitive you can literally feel the types of ocean floor terrain you are on, and distinguish bites from that, and also it is light as a feather.
ProsWell worth the money. Very sensitive. Light as a feather. Strong poles. Very good looking.
ConsAbsolutely none. Best rod i have ever used, and i have used a lot!

Jackpot winner
Broke in this rod Wed. on Catalina trip. 8 1/2 pound calico and 17 pound yellowtail to win jackpot. Love the grip, got some great casts, and kept a nice bend on the action.

Nice starter jigging rod
Nice starter jigging rod, light and nice line guides, good action for jigging small and medium-large jigs. Handled large Bonita and 5-10 pound blackfin tuna easily, rod's backbone was a little softer than I expected when I hooked 20 pound grouper in ~200 ft of water. I was still able to muscle it off the bottom though. I would recommend for people who jig a few times a year, I imagine it will make a decent sight casting rod for big snook and tarpon as well. I have a Penn Spinfisher 6500LL spooled with 40lb braid and 20 ft of 40 mono on this rod.

Hi
I'm the 2pc Spinning models could you please specify the individual piece sizes?
1 Answers
Each rod is an even 50/50 split. For the 6' model would be 36'' each piece and the 6'6'' model would be 39'' each piece.

Can I used tstbc-j701xh rod for tuna fishing?
1 Answers
The tstbc-j701xh will likely be able to handle smaller tuna, but there are other jigging rods that I would feel more confident in when up against larger tunas, such as the Shimano Trevala or St. Croix Mojo Jig.
