Ugly Stik Tiger Elite Spinning Rods take the legendary Ugly Stik formula that provides unparalleled strength and durability and refines it with sleek, performance minded features. The Ugly Tech blanks used for the Tiger Elite Series utilize a higher graphite content than the standard Tiger Rods, making them lighter and more sensitive, while still retaining the toughness you'd expect from an Ugly Stik. The Ugly Tuff one piece stainless steel guides resist corrosion and eliminate insert pop-outs. All models feature diamond shrink tube wrapped rear handles with EVA foregrips. All Ugly Stik Tiger Elite Rods are backed by a 7 year limited warranty.

Sensitive, Rugged, yet Pretty!
September 12, 2019
Great rod, just used it a few weeks ago at the NC coast fishing off a couple of piers and also the surf. The one piece stainless guides allow braid to pass through easily and I was confident an insert wouldn't pop out. Also, I was amazed with the sensitivity.....able to detect small nibbles from croakers for a rod that is labelled "heavy." If Shakespeare made longer sizes, I'd have each of them in my fleet of rods.
ProsVery sensitive, extremely durable, and real pretty to look at!

Hello Nick,

Yes, that would be a great fluke and seabass rod. Tight lines!
