For this episode of Saltwater Experience, Captains Rich Tudor and Tom Rowland team up with a rising star in the Florida Keys fishing community that also happens to be a colleague. Captain Anthony Vargas was once a member of NASA's ship recovery team and now runs Rippin Line Charters at the Hawks Cay Resort. He's even run the official Saltwater Experience boat. Vargas previously joined Rowland's podcast to talk about bridge fishing for tarpon, and now he provides hands-on education in the Florida Keys.

While Vargas has run charters to bridges, Gulf of Mexico wrecks and other inshore locations, his favorite place to go is "back into the park" — that being Everglades National Park. Arriving first thing with a bucket of bait shrimp, Anthony guides the hosts on a quest for snook, redfish and small tarpon.
