These lures are ideal for surf casting for striped bass, Jack Crevall, or Roosterfish. The Bull Pop lures are also great for casting or breaking schools of Tuna or Dorado from the boat. Great tuna popper but change the hooks
These are great poppers but wish they had better quality hooks. Take the time to swap out the hooks, you will be glad that you did!

Great Quality
After receiving the Yo-Zuri lure, I was impressed with the overall construction quality of the lure. On my first fishing trip to Ocean Beach, wind @ 12 mph and 6-8 foot surf I used the lure casting for Strippers. Casting the lure was easy, no hook tangles and excellent casting flight and distance. Would recommend this product and the great Tackle Direct service.
ProsQuality of finish, hooks and weight distribution. Lure casting is excellent.

near perfect plug
purchased one from td last year, caught everything on it, from bull redfish snook tarpon blues and jacks, still works even though the paint came off after one or 2 fish. i tried to order another one but they were out of stock , cant wait till they come back again.
Prosthe color change seemed to out perform other poppers
Conspaint finish comes off easy

I will be fishing for yellowfin tuna at night around texas oil rigs in gulf of mexico. Should I purchase the 6 inch or 8 inch size.

Either size would work. If you were only going to get one size I'd suggest the 8 inch.

In the past decade, Jersey's wrecks and reefs have begun to colonize with summer visitors in the form of gray triggerfish. Previously known as a relative bycatch on the structure piles, triggers are now carpeting inshore wrecks and reefs, sometimes by the hundreds.... Read More
