The Beulah Platinum Spey Fly Fishing Rods were designed as species specific rods, differing depending on which rod you choose. All these rods feature traditional "spey" action and fast recovery. They all come with rod sock, tube, and lifetime warranty. This particular rod is made for fishing summer steelhead, half pounds, and winter steelhead on small and medium streams. It features a more traditional full-flex "spey" action that loads deep into the butt section with extremely fast tipe recovery making it enjoyable to cast in all conditions. It will handle big water and big brute steelhead while not overpowering the smaller fish. All line types and styles including Scandinavian, Skagit, Mid or Long Belly will agree and excel when matched with this rod.
