Bail me out
December 8, 2019
After casting you need to manually close the bail. I’ve never had a reel that didn’t close itself by turning the handle. Almost wondering if something is missing. Other than the bail issue everything is good
ProsStrong drag. Very smooth reel
ConsThe non selfclosing bail is a bummer

I purchased the 65 for party boat fishing in Southern California and the real has not let me down!!! I have caught Dorado, Yellowtail, Rockfish, Sand Bass, Calico Bass on this reel. It's stopping power is amazing and for the price it hard to find a better reel. I will be adding 2 more of these to the rotation.

I have used this reel for jigging and popping, for around 2 years now and absolutely nothing wrong with it. Great amount of drag, torque and rigidity for winching in those big fish. Best priced reel I have ever used!
ProsTorque, rigid, lots of stopping power (drag).

If you fish saltwater this is a must have.I have the 65 on a 7ft XH Tsunami trophy jigging rod. It's a perfectly balanced smooth combo and ican't wait to wear out some tarpon or monster snook with it!
