Penn Battalion II Slow Pitch Casting Rods are made for the popular slow pitch jigging technique that's used widely across the US. These rods feature a rolled composite core with outer layers of longitudinal glass construction for a thin and lightweight blank. The blanks flex from grip to tip distributing weight. Parabolic rods that offer everything an angler is looking for in a jigging rod from balance to recoil. An acid-wrapped guide train enhances stability when fighting larger fish by preventing the rod from rolling or twisting. These are ideal rods for working jigs in bottom structures and offshore wrecks and inshore bays.
