Moss green color is ideal for water types ranging from glacial and high run off river systems to all oceanic regions of the world. This color is also suited for fishing in clear lakes to lakes that have large algae blooms. Green is similar to many bio organisms and will blend in to the background of the typical surroundings with which a fish is familiar.
- Spool directly from the box
- Built in cutter
- Package protects remaining line
- Arbor tape included
- Color of cartridge matches line color
- Super thin super strong
- Fits more line on the spool
- because it is thin it can be dangerous grabbing the line.
- Expensive. Not up to rated test.
- super strong and thin, allowing greater line capacity or "upsizing" of your test rating.
- Not a very good option for fishing wood cover. Noisy through the guides of a rod.
- 500 yards on a Van Stall VSX200. Lays nicely on the spool as spooled by TackleDirect!
- Super strong and super thin.
- Quite expensive compared to standard power pro
- Amazing line capacity
Power Pro Maxcuatro is 25% thinner then regular Power Pro, so a reel holding 350yds/40lb should hold around 430yds/40lb. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
I am going on a blue fin tuna charter in August. My question is 2 part.
1, will the carnage jigging rod rated 100-200lb line also cast poppers? The standard boat rods heaviest rating is 80 to 130 I believe.
What will be the better option
2, I just bought the 9500 spinfisher, (do you think I should have gone with the 10500?)
I was unsure as to what like to spool it with. I want extreme abrasion resistance and no wind knots. And I figured maybe maxcuatro would give me that possibly. Other than that I was going to use super slick v2 or maybe berkly x9
The Carnage II 50100S70 is going to be your best bet with that reel:
Are you looking for a popping setup? If so, we'd be happy to help you find the right rod.
I would go with Maxcuatro 80lb or 60lb Jerry Brown hollow core if you would prefer to use a loop to loop connection.
