Engineered to a precise 30 Micron tolerance, the Toit Fishing Split Ring Plier Inserts are CNC machined out of 440C stainless steel for great performance and corrosion resistance. All inserts are hardened to a 60 Rockwell Hardness which offers great longevity even with hard use. Its precision build and durable construction gives greater control to the angler while opening split rings without the compromise their strength. Opening split rings too far is a common issue that often happens with poor quality alternatives and not being able to open high strength split rings is an issue of itself, preventing you from getting on the water and causing more frustration than needed.
